Nasya Chikitsa
Nasya is an important Panchakarma therapy in Ayurveda in which medicated oils, ghee, herbal juices, or powders are administered through the nasal passage. According to Ayurveda, “Nasa Hi Shiraso Dwaram” meaning the nose is the gateway to the brain. Therefore, this therapy is considered especially effective for diseases occurring above the neck (Urdhva Jatrugata Roga).
